When I got my eyes and hands on this Premium Theme for the first time (in summer 2009) I was extremely impressed by its feature-rich environment which comes along with top-notch usability.
Needless to say, I’m using Thesis for WordPress since I bought it. When I was still working with “free” themes, I switched them on a weekly period.

Without any doubt I can state that the Thesis theme is by far the most beautiful theme on our planet Earth. You can see that by looking around on this very site! I did not change much inside the CSS file and – voilá – another bright Thesis star was born. The improvements on visual aspects took me perhaps two hours. And again, I want to make clear that I did not have to go inside the code to improve the GFX!
3. Thesis is easy
I could as well say that Thesis is for dummies! Thesis is easier than WordPress itself. I’m not exaggerating when I shout it out loud: “With Thesis it’s hard to do something wrong. Even drunk while editing you will experience a masterpiece of a blog.” » more
For kids it is, yeah. If you are a father or a mother I bet that your little teenagers will be able to maintain a true killer website with the Thesis tools. Even if you switch on all the bells and whistles in the Thesis options you will be able to administrate your little online gem without any hesitation or usability problems. It’s not like having another crappy theme installed which was supposed to make blogging life easer – epic fails summed up, didn’t they? – and made all worse. Thesis is easy!
4. Thesis is customizable
Perhaps the greatest WOW-effect comes from the Thesis customization options galore! Thesis is a true shape-shifter and by just adding a few lines of extra CSS you will receive a totally unique blog in a matter of minutes.
Theme customization was never easy, but today every sophisticated webdesigner (or you as a blogger) can stay relaxed when it comes to CSS magic. There is a file called custom.css which – once set – overrides every element of your theme. » more
This following example reveals the magic. Please note that you will never ever have to change any core files again since Thesis uses a core CSS file for its default design and override these settings if you customize the custom.css file! Updates are easier than ever because your customizations will remain untouched. They are resting safely in their own place.

Besides handling CSS in such a fluffy way the plugin support for Thesis is just great. Every plugin just works like a charm and due to the great concept of our little custom.css you can style the plugins (div containers, p-elements, lists and such) by just overriding the settings made by default!
So, this fourth point should be finished right now, but – alas! – I have to present another feature that comes with Thesis: Hooks. Yeah, finally you are able to hook up that girl from the record store… Just kidding, these hooks are not for physical fun only but for meta-physical things like virtual functions and addons that YOU write for WordPress. And if you are too lazy to put the custom functions (like plugin code or ads) in your custom_functions.php you should use Rick Beckman’s OpenHook plugin for WordPress.
5. Thesis is optimized
Yeah! Finally you can forget about the multiple SEO plugins you formerly needed to achieve nice rankings in the Google results. That is because Chris Pearson has implemented several (well, all of them I believe) methods to rank as well as you deserve to. » more
Serious and helpful Search Engine Optimization has never been that easy. Especially in means of WordPress which was always a nice “ranker” but still lacked the proper improvements – these are now all stuffed into the Thesis Theme package you are going to purchase. Within the Thesis options menu you can easily change which posts and pages Google & others are allowed to index. Just opt in or not – it’s all your choice. This feature prevents scary duplicate content and will for sure help your blog rank better than with other themes.
Besides that you are allowed to specify a meta description and meta keywords for every single post/page. You can even change the title of your posts and leave the post slug alone. Or the other way round. Again: It’s solely your choice. Play around with these advanced SEO settings and you will see the outcome within a few days! Added feature: Canonical URLs are now made easy due to Thesis.
Do you want to hear my opinion? I believe this feature to be worth the price you have to pay for the whole package. Period.
6. Thesis is affordable
Ok, perhaps you are one of these people who totally disagree with paying for any kind of software. You might be considered a pirate or something like that. I don’t care. I just want to mention that the Thesis theme is really worth every penny spent. If you read through the page you would now agree with me! You will receive a theme that is capable of too many things to describe.
Language becomes weak in this matter. Chris Pearson earned my utmost respect for publishing this masterpiece and I want to pay him back. I want to encourage you to benefit from his work which can be called a revolution at once. I would not dare to disagree because I now have been digging inside the code for a long time.
Chris knows what he is doing and he does it as perfect as it could be. He is a true pro from the WordPress Theme Scene. I trust him and you should follow suit. If you are still not convinced you shall be pleased if you Try Thesis.
